"2025-10-14"));` 2 Thanks to a good friend of mine, I now have some promotional artwork! 3 4 I initially wanted to create a mascot similar to the classic *nix mascots, like 5 Tux, Beastie and the GNU. I initially wanted to create some sort of design based 6 off of a monk, but I couldn't really find something unique. 7 8 However, after a bit of brainstorming, we took a unique angle. What's associated 9 with monks / monasteries? Cats! We ended up coming up with this design after a 10 bit of work: 11 12  13 14 Here's the icon version: 15 16  17 18 Our mascot is this little cat, curled up in a computer. He's wearing a beanie 19 that he allegedly stole from one of the monks. I think it captures that vibe of 20 a tech project. It's not something I can quanitfy or explain to you from an 21 artistic perspective, but I like it. 22 23 Thanks to my artist - you know who you are!
